Frequently Asked Questions

I don't have any specific injuries. Can I still get a massage here?

Yes. I does not exclude anyone who is seeking care. You don’t have to wait for aches & pains to get a massage. Preventative wellness is far easier to accomplish than corrective wellness.

I've never had a massage before, what can I expect?

Before treatment starts I will go through a verbal intake with you to discuss your personal needs, and we will work out a treatment plan that suits your comfort level. The discussion before the massage is key to creating a treatment plan that is perfect for you. You have the right to alter or rescind your consent at any time of the treatment. If you have more questions or are nervous to get a massage I recommend contacting me before booking so we can discuss if a massage is right for you.

I live with social anxiety, do I have to talk the entire session?

After the intake, I will only ask you questions relevant to the treatment and to check-in to make sure you are feeling comfortable. I always follow your lead and will never make small talk unless you want to chat. This is your time to relax and turn the volume down.

Do I need to remove all my clothes?

I will only undrape the area I'm working on, so you are essentially always covered. How much clothing you remove is totally up to you as the draping will keep you covered and secure. Still uncomfortable removing your clothes? No problem! I can treat you fully clothed.

Should I tip?

Tips are never expected, but always accepted with gratitude.
